Big juniper and bitter Tyxylix flavours upon entry that move into crushed cornflakes and spicy juniper flavours. A big kick on this one that moves into hazelnut and baked rye bread on the very end. Bloody interesting stuff.
Thai spice with a very faint wave of juniper. Lemon zest then comes to the forefront followed closely by a sweet pepper taste that moves through the soft kick. Very faint liquorice, smashed Parma Violet and army and navy sweets wrapped in lavender on the finish.

Named after Booker Noe, Jim Beam's grandson and former Master Distiller, Bookers Bourbon was first released in 1992. This small batch bourbon is aged between 6-8 years and bottled at cask strength, producing a full bodied, rich whiskey.
An absolutely cracking American whiskey from the Boondocks range, helmed by Dave Scheurich, former master distiller of Woodford Reserve. This expression is made with a combo heavy in corn, along with helpings of rye and malt, and matured for 11 years before bottling. It's not quite a bourbon, as it was distilled to a higher strength than allowed for bourbon (which is 160 proof, or 80% ABV), and matured in used charred white oak bourbon barrels (rather than brand new ones).
A cask-strength version of the Boondocks 11 Year Old, aged in American oak and notable for its soft mouthfeel and harmonious balance of earthy, spicy flavours. Sample the malty corn cereal, milk chocolate and leather which is typical of this Kentucky distiller.
A statement from the whiskey maker notes that this expression is a cask-strength bourbon with a limited run of just 1,620 bottles. Each will be individually numbered.
Just like all of Boondocks’ whiskeys, ryes, and bourbons, this limited edition was crafted by Master Distiller David Scheurich, a veteran of the whiskey industry for 45 years and a winner of the Whisky Advocate Lifetime Achievement Award.

From Boondocks, in Bardstown Kentucky, comes this exceptional straight rye whiskey. It’s been made according to the laws passed in the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, which means 50% ABV, four years aging, and that it’s been made entirely at a single distillery, in a single season.

Gabriel Boudier’s micro-distillery is known for the quality of its work and each Boudier’s Saffron gin batch is handcrafted using natural botanicals creating its delicately spicy character. Juniper is of course in there with notes of iris, angelica, orange peels and interesting fennel, delivering the liquorice aniseed notes which last long after drinking. The colour stands out but the flavour is even more memorable.
An alluring coconut rum liqueur from St Lucia's Bounty, made by macerating coconut extracts and sugars with their classic white rum, then diluting the result and adding more sugar. Try it with club soda and lime, in a Pina Colada or perhaps with chocolate bitters to recreate a popular chocolate bar…
A dark dark rum from St Lucia, made by blending together 3-year-old column-still rum and 6-year-old pot-still rum, all aged in ex-bourbon casks. Brugal 1888 was launched in 1988 to celebrate the company’s centenary and benefits from aging in ex-whisky barrels for 14 to 16 years. A portion of the blend is also aged in sherry butts and the aroma evidences this sweet sherry scent. The flavour is full-bodied and the sherry flavour remains with vanilla, toffee and vibrant liquorice notes also come through. Dry oak tannins are underlying throughout and add depth to the character of this rum.
The 11th edition of Bruichladdich's Black Art series is a 24-year-old unpeated single malt, drawn from casks that were filled before the Islay distillery's 2001 renaissance. Only head distiller Adam Hannett knows the recipe, with the barley and cask types remaining undisclosed for this unrepeatable expression.

The long awaited followup to Bulleit's regular bourbon and rye whiskies - a 10 year old bourbon. Fantastically balanced, with great controlled sweetness, and a backbone of oak and spice.
In its striking bottle with its marmalade orange hues, Bulleit bourbon is high in rye which helps add real spice to its character. Award winning and becoming more and more popular, Bulleit has a pungent nose awash with orange and oak notes, as well as a hint of smoke and even a little banana. The flavour is creamy and full-bodied, zesty on the palate with orange and lime notes and then oaky tobacco comes through, enjoyable and warm.

Bulleit Rye has a mashbill of 95% rye and just 5% malted barley and is produced in small batches, allowing the flavour to really bloom. The nose is awash with sweet cherries and classic vanilla and on the palate you’ll enjoy an intense heat that mellows into a mesh of peaches, cherries, cinnamon and orange zest. A smoky finish is just what’s needed to show a bourbon of true class.

The rum is matured in former bourbon casks for up to fifteen years and blended with all natural native Caribbean spices and pure Bajan water filtered through the coral limestone rocks of the island. No artificial flavours or colours are added.
On the nose, aromas of banana are prominent, with cinnamon and vanilla sweetness. To taste, the mature rum and natural spices bring a rich complexity. Sweet and smooth, a big hit of vanilla is followed by orange peel, banana and mango. Subtle fresh herbal notes and a touch of dry tobacco come through with the spices making this an excellent spiced sipper.
