Daddy Rack Tennessee Straight Whiskey comes from J. Arthur Rackham. An individual who has spent more than 5 decades working in the alcohol industry. Leaning on what’s described as purity and flavor nuances, all barrels chosen for Daddy Rack are aged for a minimum of three years, then blended by Rackham to produce a smooth yet cask strength Tennessee whiskey. Daddy Rack’s whiskey is made with Grade 1 locally-farmed corn, sour mash fermentation and lightly rectified copper double distillation. It is also filtered using Lincoln County maple charcoal slow filtration before aging in new American oak barrels.

Jose Cuervo 1800 Silver Tequila is a premium silver tequila that slightly plays against the rules of tradition by resting, rather than aging, in an American oak barrel for up to 15 days after distillation, just long enough to take on a dash of colour and a slightly oaky body of flavour. Sporting the freshness of a traditional silver, the flavour deepens a bit, getting a bit spicy toward the end, and definitely savoury. One of the three official Craigellachie bottlings released in 2014, their 13 year old single malt Scotch whisky handsomely shows off the bold, robust character of the distillery's output. The Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton is up and running - hooray! This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Following this, they add a botanical selection including bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seed and Cotswolds lavender to their carter head still for distillation. To bring it down to bottling strength, a robust 46% ABV, they use naturally refined Cotswolds water.

It apparently was named after Mr. Copperhead, an alchemist who was searching for the elixir of life. Along the way, he produced the recipe for this refreshing gin! Try with a garnish of Green Cardamom Pods and Fever Tree Tonic - either Natural or Elderflower based on your preference.

The Dorset Dry Gin embodies the bright and refreshing spirit of Dorset. Distilled in Bournemouth from 10 select botanicals, including marsh samphire, elderberries and hand-picked gorse flowers foraged from across the Dorset Jurassic Coast. A fruity blended malt whisky from Compass Box, made with a combination of some of the fruitiest malts that Scotland has to offer, including whisky from Linkwood and Clynelish distilleries.

The 54% is hidden in the chocolate notes, which brings warmth to this 12-year-old Panama rum. Nose: Heavy dark chocolate, hot cream, and touches of citrus. Palate: Almost like mini muh chocolate and with notes of cocoa. This rum is marked by the casks with a bit of orange, but the chocolate notes outshines the most of it. Country: Panama Age: 12 years

A lip-smacking expression from 1423's Compañero range, based around rum from Trinidad and flavoured with plenty of orange alongside various tropical deliciousness. Well suited to enjoying alongside particularly sweet puddings, we reckon.

astis d'Antan Combier is a traditional sugar-free pastis. This anise-flavored spirit contains many other plants and spices such as coriander, clove, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Kummel takes its name from German and Dutch derivations for cumin and caraway seed, which, alongside fennel, are used to flavour this colourless liqueur. Palate: Fennel and liquorice dominate the palate. Finish: The finish is refreshing with clean anise notes. Overall: A clean, anise-led, liqueur best-served chilled.

Clynelish is the successor to the now-silent Brora, built opposite the original distillery and producing a top-quality rich, smoky dram. One of the best entry-level proprietary bottlings available from any distillery.

Rhum Clement was founded by Homere Clement in 1887 in Martinique, a small Caribbean island which has a unique terrior and the perfect tropical climate and humidity for producing rhum. It is the only French Caribbean island to have an AOC appellation, which they recieved in 1996.
