Clean Polish vodka that holds its own. Bread and butter with dried apple and lemon zest on entry. Crushed grains then take over with deep spicy overtones. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and the finish is both flinty and pepper driven. This is really very good for the price and remaons a favourite of the Polish, who seem to drink cauldrons of it every weekend.

Palate: Brown sugar and soft almonds, hints of oak and pine, liquorice root and marmalade on brown toast, some tangy and sweet spices add a nice bitter kick, soft fruity and mellow tones with hints of elderflower and light cream.
Excellent and original grass and herb driven vodka. Opens up with freshly mowed grass and green apple notes. These move through into deep yet balanced and complexed herbal notes followed by waves of hay and green apple. The finish is grassy, clean and almost refreshing with a soft lime and herb bite that fades into apples. Best served from the fridge and tastes fantastic with freshly pressed apple juice.

Handcrafted from a small copper still in the bar area of Ben’s Canteen in London, in addition to juniper it contains honey and oranges, as well as 10 other botanicals. The Wandsworth honey represents living and working in London, while the oranges represent holidaying and dreaming in Mallorca – as, so we're told, the eponymous Ben often likes to do. Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of lavender.
The 11th edition of Bruichladdich's Black Art series is a 24-year-old unpeated single malt, drawn from casks that were filled before the Islay distillery's 2001 renaissance. Only head distiller Adam Hannett knows the recipe, with the barley and cask types remaining undisclosed for this unrepeatable expression.

The Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton is up and running - hooray! This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Following this, they add a botanical selection including bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seed and Cotswolds lavender to their carter head still for distillation. To bring it down to bottling strength, a robust 46% ABV, they use naturally refined Cotswolds water.

Created by London-based entrepreneur Rachel Verghis, MarGin is an artisanal gin that encapsulates the essence of the British ‘white fiver,’ originally issued by the Bank of England in 1793. This small-batch gin incorporates a precisely balanced infusion of nine botanicals, featuring juniper berries, pink hyssop, and cotton lavender among others. The outcome is an elegant, cool, and crisp flavour complemented by a dry yet smooth mouthfeel.
The taste is smooth with juniper and coriander seeds combined with complex notes of citrus. The botanicals have been macerated in Swedish neutral grain spirit for 12 hours, then distilled in large copper pots that are equipped with a state-of-the-art vacuum system. This lowers the temperature for the distilling process, resulting in a fresher taste.
