Melted caramel and peanuts upon entry followed by waves of sweet chocolate. Caramel takes over mid palette and moves into peanut brittle and palm sugar notes. The kick is super smooth and the finish is a mixture of snickers and hard candy with a faint lick of rock salt. Yum stuff!

The Hakushi distillery is hidden in the forests near the Japanese Alps and this particular offering is aged for 12 years. An exceptional single malt, Hakushu 12 year is a light and refreshing offering with hay and mixed peels on the nose and gentle barley malt, smokiness and hazelnut coming through in the taste. Stormy by name, stormy by nature Talisker Storm is a youthful whisky which has the characteristics of the Talisker distillery as well as smoky notes and an interestingly complex flavour profile. An initially briny nose leads into banana, citrus and white pepper notes. This multi-faceted nose leads into a similar palate, with additional wood smoke and biting chilli heat. It ends on a dry note, satisfying and welcome.
Named for the distillery’s number 10 still, Tanqueray No. 10 gin is based upon their classic recipe with some exciting additions. Enjoy the depth of flavour added by additional camomile and fresh grapefruit, lightening the nature of the gin and adding a refreshing edge. With almost sherbet undertones, No.10 has a rounded palate which combines floral juniper with the citrus notes and additional spice from coriander and white pepper.
