The finish is long, soft, delicate and above all else, entices you to try another sip.

One of the most highly commended Chivas Regal blended malts, this 25 year old offering is truly delicious, with light fruit notes pairing perfectly with soft nutty notes. On the nose it’s the nuttiness that comes through first followed by berry fruits and malts and even a faint hint of porridge. The flavour is softer, gentle with sweet honey, aniseed and an elegant toffee richness. An earthy finish is the perfect end note.

A deep red colour and an aroma that bursts with tangy cherry - the gin hits you quickly with big juniper flavours and a little bit of spice. Followed quickly by a velvety cherry taste at the back of your mouth and a long, sour finish.
We’re enjoying ours on the rocks, but it’s also fantastic with tonic and a Maraschino cherry garnish.

Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey
One of Michter's most limited produced whiskies. Michter’s 10 year old single barrel Kentucky straight rye continues the legacy of America’s first whiskey variety (rye) company (Michter’s, originally known as Shenk’s).
Deep notes of vanilla and toffee, toasted almonds and cinnamon
Ample dose of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus
Proof: 92.8
ABV: 46.4%
A solid and spicy rye made to the Michter's recipe, although not distilled at the now closed Schaefferstown distillery. Nonetheless, Michter's is a name with a certain cult cachet in American whiskey circles, and we reckon this will be a big hit over here.

The Warner Edwards distillers in Northamptonshire have brought us another flavour of excellent gin - they have been prolific since their start in 2012. This time, they've gone regal and created Rhubarb Gin, , as well as their Harrington Dry Gin. They also add just enough sugar to balance out the acidity from the rhubarb, producing a spirit with plenty of sweetness and some subtle, enjoyably sour notes emanate from the rhubarb.

Nutty Sri Lankan arrack is a distinctively flavoured drink which utilises the flavours of some of the country’s most naturally occurring plants. The sap of the coconut flower stem forms the key ingredient of the drink and is combined with a range of hand-picked botanicals and distilled in a traditional column still. The result is a flavour which is reminiscent of diluted whisky with recognisable nutty and malted notes and the added fruitiness of dried strawberry. A truly unique flavour.
A lip-smacking expression from 1423's Compañero range, based around rum from Trinidad and flavoured with plenty of orange alongside various tropical deliciousness. Well suited to enjoying alongside particularly sweet puddings, we reckon.
The 54% is hidden in the chocolate notes, which brings warmth to this 12-year-old Panama rum.

Very exciting stuff here, folks! This is the first single malt whisky from the Cotswolds Distillery (as well as being the first single malt whisky ever distilled in the Cotswold countryside!). A much-anticipated release, which has been produced using barley grown in the Cotswolds, distilled in their Forsyths copper pot stills (Mary & Janis) and aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks. We've been eagerly awaiting this whisky, and we know plenty of you have been too!
