Well, this is definitely somethng different.
Billed as an alternative to fresh lemons and limes, Supsasawa is a fascinating amalgamation of distilled water (which seems pointless, but it does remove a lot of impurities), citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, phosphoic acid, a little bit of sugar and a touch of salt.
The end result is a completely clear liquid with no aroma whatsoever, and zero alcohol. It seems fairly unassuming, until you touch a drop to your lips, which then explodes into a blaze of sharp citrus.
