Known locally as Mount Gay Black this fine Barbadian rum brings together many different blends with ages of between 8 and 12 years. In Barbados you’ll hear calls for a ‘Black and Coke’ and this can only mean a good old shot of Mount Gay XO in their drink. Spicy apricot, fiery heat and honeyed fruit work together to create the distinct flavour of Mount Gay XO. The maturation process adds a dry oaky complexity to the drink, a distinction which is widely enjoyed.

Your ancestors may even have heard of this one, Mount Gay is one of the world’s oldest rums, dating back to the 18th century. Pure Barbadian spring water and sugar cane are blended to create the trademark flavour, the recipe still the same as when first created. Notes of apricot and banana burst from the bottle and there’s a subtle smokiness that comes from the Kentucky bourbon barrels the rum is aged in.

Released in the UK in 2014, the Mount Gay Black Barrel rum is made from single column and double pot distilled rum, though using a higher proportion of double pot distillates than their other expressions. It is also finished in heavily charred bourbon barrels before being bottled.

By 1883, he was a partner at his own operation, where he brought his son Guy — Steve and Paul Beam’s grandfather — into the business, reawakening the stills that were silenced by Prohibition. Minor Case is an ode to what master distiller M.C. Beam’s rye whiskey would have tasted like had he not been stifled by Prohibition, aged in cream sherry casks for an unforgettable flavor. Nose: Earthy notes and sweet sherry Palate: Hint of sweet butterscotch Finish: Smooth, with hints of dried fruits--- Nose: Mince pie and stem ginger. Touches of dusty oak and honey'd cereal. Nonetheless, Michter's is a name with a certain cult cachet in American whiskey circles, and we reckon this will be a big hit over here. We cannot guarantee specific barrel number or year of release of these bottles.

The 2024 release continues the high standard we’ve come to expect from these guys.

Michter's small-batch bourbon is named after a former 'oldest distillery in the USA', and is currently wowing the UK bar scene. Sweet, fruity and spicy, it packs in plenty of flavour.

Michters single barrel release of their rye. Filling their barrels at just above 50% ABV rather than at a much higher industry standard, turns Michters into a smoother, more full-bodied whisky. This release was bottled at 55.1% ABV as Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.

Fresh from Mexico and teaming with flavours of pumpkin seed and cocoa, the Mezcal Amores Cupreata is a single-variety mezcal that’s made from agave cupreata - a plant that’s only found 1,200+ metres up in the mountains of the Rio Balsas. Expect leathery notes and toasty, smoky flavours. It’s not nicknamed tequila’s smoky cousin for nothing.

One of the smoothest brandies on the market, Metaxa 7 Stars is an intense and warm fruity drink which offers intense notes of flavour delivered by the sun ripened Muscat grapes of the Aegean islands. Made using Muscat wines that have been selected from the Samos region in Greece and brandy, Metaxa 12 Stars is a tasty Greek brandy with a full palate of chocolate, orange peel and floral notes.

A gin with a sense of place, being made with Isle of Wight rock samphire and Boadicea hops alongside juniper, coriander seeds, fresh lemon zest, grains of paradise, angelica, liquorice, orris and elderflower.

A classic liqueur Kummel is a refreshing and sweet smelling drink which is packed full of flavour. Syrupy in the mouth, each sip is full-bodied and fiery, with pronounced notes of caraway, aniseed and hints of citrus and fresh peppermint. Dodo "Coconut" White Rum 1L Dodo "Coconut" rum is crafted from Mauritian molasses and column distiled. Following which it left to macerate with fresh coconut and a little sugar over a period of time for the flavours to aromas to blossom.
