The Godfather of cherry liqueurs, Heering Cherry Brandy is made to a recipe which dates back to the early 19th century and spends three years maturing before being bottled and this delivers a flavour which truly represents the sweet succulence of the cherry. One of the original ingredients for the first ever Singapore Sling, Heering Cherry Brandy is made from natural ingredients, locally sourced Danish cherries and is genuinely the original cherry brandy.

Classic French aperitif. Waves of honeyed tropical fruit and glace cherries with smashed sauvignon grapes and floral notes. Starts out sweet and moves into a dry zesty almost zingy finish.

Combining the same classic ingredients for nearly 200 years, Angostura bitters are a key ingredient in many famous cocktails, often paired with gin and rum to great effect. Despite the name, its flavour is not bitter at all, with the strong aromatic flavour, powerful with gentian and spices. Many cocktails simply wouldn’t be the same without a dash or two of Angostura bitters and it’s the complex herbaceous nature of the product which allows it to offer additional depth and dimension to cocktails.

One of Brazil’s favourite Cachaça, Velho Barreiro is delicate on the nose but powerful earthy tones come through when you sip. Ripe marrow and fresh orchard fruit aromas are all present in the nose but when enjoyed neatthe flavour is crisp and clean, with a rounded flavour profile which once again allows the sweet vegetal notes to shine. This also applies when you add it to your favourite exotic cocktail, unsurprisingly a perfect partner for the other essential ingredients in a Caipirinha.

Another exceptional rum from one of Mauritius’ finest producers Green Island, Green Island Light is a highly drinkable and wonderfully subtle offering. Grassy and herbaceous on the nose, hints of pepper and sweet honey also come through tempting you to taste it. The flavour is surprisingly creamy for a white rum and has distinct notes of exotic coconut, bitter cocoa and golden syrup, as well as sharp lime and black pepper. It’s this final note than lingers once the drink is done.
