The Royal British Legion’s Centenary Created to toast the centenary of the Royal British Legion. ​ The Royal British Legion was founded in May 1921 as a campaigning organisation, fighting for fair treatment of those who had given so much for their country in The First World War, and provided much needed welfare and comradeship to millions. ​ 100 years on, the RBL continues to respond to the changing needs of the Armed Forces community, providing small interventions to life-changing and sometimes lifesaving support.
