Our multi award-winning signature blend, Four Island, is a union of world-class single estate rums made from two different base ingredients, molasses and fresh sugar cane juice. We’ve married three wonderful barrel-aged rums – an eight-year-old rum from the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, a five-year-old from the Dominican Republic and a two-year-old pot still rum from a multi-award-winning estate in Jamaica. The result is a core blend that's classically Caribbean: fruity and aromatic with juicy notes of tropical fruit, combined with the warm smokiness that comes from those years spent in lightly charred barrels previously used for maturing bourbon. We’ve then added the x-factor - a ’punch’ of authentic unaged Rhum Agricole from Guadeloupe - to bring a vibrant and grassy freshness to the blend. This unrivalled blend offers the best of both worlds – a luxurious amber liquid that combines the rich woody flavours of great aged rum, with the fresh earthiness of unaged Rhum Agricole. Pure and unadulterated with absolutely no sugar or colouring added post distillation, it’s also vegan friendly and gluten-free.

Interestingly, now that industry giants Diageo are distributing Zacapa, the '23 years old' age statement has suddenly been dropped and replaced with a somewhat more plausible claim – the rums used are aged between 6 and 23 years old and are blended together in a solera.

Bacardi is best known for their world famous white rum but here Bacardi 8 Year Old is an intense, red-gold offering which is exceptional when added to spiced cocktails or enjoyed neat. The aroma is awash with buttery caramel, orange marmalade and banana leaf notes which lead to a medium bodied flavour which allows sweet Demerara sugar, apricots and gingerbread to take centre stage. Butterscotch and vanilla notes linger throughout with just a touch of nutmeg spice finishing it off.

Mount Gay Extra XO Triple Cask Blend , 70cl

Known locally as Mount Gay Black this fine Barbadian rum brings together many different blends with ages of between 8 and 12 years. In Barbados you’ll hear calls for a ‘Black and Coke’ and this can only mean a good old shot of Mount Gay XO in their drink. Spicy apricot, fiery heat and honeyed fruit work together to create the distinct flavour of Mount Gay XO. The maturation process adds a dry oaky complexity to the drink, a distinction which is widely enjoyed.
