Bruxo No. 1 Mezcal, 70cl

An exceptionally crafted vintage-style absinthe created as a tribute to one of the world’s most famous pre-ban absinthes, Pernod Fils. Jade 1901 has a balanced flavour with a strong herbal aroma and an aftertaste rich in wormwood and aniseed. It has a distinct pale golden colour with a greenish tinge and fresh, woody aromas with notes of sage, tarragon and lime blossom. The alcohol content combined with the strength of wormwood provide the characteristic palate-numbing sensation absinthe is known for.

Classic French aperitif. Waves of honeyed tropical fruit and glace cherries with smashed sauvignon grapes and floral notes. Starts out sweet and moves into a dry zesty almost zingy finish.

Manhattan standard issue! Big bitter sweet stewed stone fruit notes with zesty orange and Manuka Honey flavours. This flows into a big bittersweet orange and squished hot plum and sloeberrry finish.

A unique Spanish brandy with strong notes of grapes and raisins, Cardenal Mendoza Solera has a syrupy texture, is sweet on the palate and has a flavour profile which builds and builds. From the sweet aroma of plums and liquorice, with a light touch of espresso coffee, Cardenal Mendoza Solera has a flavour which combines these distinct flavours with additional hints of caramel to balance the bittersweet coffee notes. A perfect balance which is long and has a satisfying nutty aftertaste.

Another exceptional rum from one of Mauritius’ finest producers Green Island, Green Island Light is a highly drinkable and wonderfully subtle offering. Grassy and herbaceous on the nose, hints of pepper and sweet honey also come through tempting you to taste it. The flavour is surprisingly creamy for a white rum and has distinct notes of exotic coconut, bitter cocoa and golden syrup, as well as sharp lime and black pepper. It’s this final note than lingers once the drink is done.
